56% of U.S. Households Own a Current Video Game Console

According to Nielson, 56% of American households have at least one gaming console, up 56% from the previous year. Nielson also reports subscriptions and digital content are also on the rise. As for next-generation game consoles, four out of five gamers who own current-generation systems are interested in a future console.
