High-DPI iPad 3 displays said to be in short supply

Apple products are almost always hard to come by soon after their launch. People queue up at stores, place pre-orders, and sometimes wait days or weeks for their latest iGadget. According to the latest story by DigiTimes, the iPad 3 won't put that trend to rest... in fact, the device may be uniquely difficult to find at first.
