Mass-BitTorrent Lawsuits Stopped Over Unlicensed Attorney

I'm no expert when it comes to this kind of stuff but even I know it is probably a good idea to have a license to practice law before you start suing people. Thousands of people who have been sued for downloading movies can breathe a sigh of relief, for now at least. A Florida judge has stopped 27 mass-BitTorrent lawsuits because the attorney for the copyright holders appears to be unlicensed. The cases are likely to be dismissed and the plaintiffs will not be allowed to demand settlements from the accused file-sharers.
