ASUS GTX 560Ti 448 Cores DirectCU II 1280MB Video Card Review @ Hi Tech Legion

@ 2012/02/08
The ASUS GTX 560Ti 448 Cores video card sports ASUS's DirectCU II Custom Cooler. With its 2.5 PCIe slot configuration and two 100mm fans covering a greater area of the PCB, the DirectCU II cooler provides 20% greater cooling over the reference design. The 560 Ti 448 Core from ASUS obviously gets its name change because we see a jump in the CUDA Cores over the reference design of 560 Ti, which only has 384 CUDA Cores. One of the biggest changes we see with the 448 Core GTX 560 Ti is the architecture change, moving from the GF114 to the GF110 processor, making it a closer relative to the GTX 570/580. We also see some other changes in the GTX 560 Ti 448 Core limited edition card from ASUS, such as core clock speeds, as well as a boost in speed for the memory.
