GPS Technology Comes to Shoes

GPS technology has made its way into the footware market, but it's not as strange as it may sound. The high tech sneaks are designed to keep tabs on patients and loved ones by caretakers. The company that produces the GPS shoes is Aetrex and also operates the website where a digital "geo-fence" can be made that will alert the caretaker when the shoe wearer goes outside of the 'safe zone'. The person being tracked by GPS can then be quickly located and returned to the safe zone.
