While AMD FX was excelling in Winrar, it was all for a very short duration. Only a month later the 3960X SB-E CPU from Intel took back the crown. But the true potential of the Intel CPU's is seeing daylight now.
Apparently there's a bug in the Windows 7 power management, making the hyperthreading cores less effective or even putting them in standby mode. Look at them scores...

What to do to give it a try :

Some applications benefit from the power management off, others seem to be running a tad slower. OBR has done some more testing. Read more here :
