Best Buy Closing All UK Stores

According to this BBC report, Best Buy is closing all eleven stores in the UK after failing to turn a profit. The sad part is that the first UK Best Buy just opened in April of last year. Many of the eleven stores being closed have only been open a matter of months. Carphone Warehouse is to close all of its 11 Best Buy stores across the UK, the company has announced. The move puts 1,100 jobs at risk at the outlets, which sell electronic goods, but the firm said it hoped to find the "large majority" alternative work.
