Just like its predecessors, Dell decided to launch the new 24” UltraSharp display in somewhat of a silent mode. UltraSharp series of IPS displays always catered to professionals and the stealthy launches were always timed to gauge the sales and avoid shortages.

Dell UltraSharp U2412MThe screen quality always was a great asset, and it isn’t uncommon to see 24" Dells even in studios which utilize only Mac computers. However, with the new U2412M display, Dell is abandoning the 16:10 form factor and goes for a mainstream 16:9 and Full HD resolution.

I think they misread some of the specs and poured into an incorrect news article; funny if you compare it with the TechReport article on the same product

This news post a joke?

Last I checked, 1920x1200 was still considered 16:10.
