@ 2011/06/03Microsoft announced today at a special meeting for the first time a demonstration of Windows to its eight partners and a select delegation of the press. During the presentation, the new touch interface of Microsoft Windows displayed and demonstrated that the new operating system on different devices, not only with X86 processors but also ARM chips. Windows 7 works only with x86 processors from Intel and AMD, while energy-efficient ARM processor just popular for smartphones and tablets. The main data of the new Windows version is that it gets two different interfaces. First there is the usual interface as we know of Windows 7 with the focus on work with mouse and keyboard. In addition, a new interface that is fully optimized for touch use. This second skin looks a bit like a cross between Windows 7 and Windows Media Center Phone. Both run the same interface: you can switch between super fast and even side-by-side run parallel.
