@ 2011/04/13On April 10th,Lian Li held a product event in Guangzhou,where its PC-U6 cowry case was officially released.Looking back to several years ago,we have admired Lian Li PC-777 case greatly,now the new version——PC-U6 case has become "light cowry" from heavy conch shell.What other changes with the new one?let’s find the answer together.
There are many similarities between Lian Li PC-U6 and Silverstone FT03,for example,they all have special design with Micro-ATX type,and can install the most high-end long graphics,maybe their price will be close.
In terms of appearance and materials,We believe perhaps 90% of players will hold the belief that aluminum Lian Li PC-U6 case will defeat Silverstone FT03,and Lian Li PC-U6 measures 219*412*500mm,slightly fatter than FT03.
As for cooling,the dual-fan design of Lian Li PC-U6 may be not better than tri-fan design of Silverstone FT03,as out test is a little hurry,we don’t have more time to compare the two case’s thermal performance,but we infer that they may be neck and neck.
When it comes to noise,the two cases all have fan speed controllers,in view of the more holes design with PC-U6,the case’s fan noise will transmit to exterior easily.In fact,Silverstone FT03 also comes with lots of cooling hols,so the noise is supposed to be bigger than that of PC-U6.
