ASUS Crosshair IV Formula AMD Motherboard Review

The fact of the matter is that no one buying this board is going to run a processor at stock, and really if you do, well you are just stupid. The ASUS Crosshair IV Formula was built to be a badass AMD overclocker and that is exactly what it is. Its stable, fast, and a hell of an enthusiast toy. The big question here is value, and at $210, you can easily argue that it is worth every penny. The only thing that seems to be a contender with the Crosshair is the MSI 890FXA-GD70 for 179.99 after MIR at the time of writing this. Both these boards are solid enthusiast motherboards and great values and both should be on your AMD overclocker short list for sure. We are partial to red and black around here, but black and blue has its draw as well.
