Crucial Ballistix DDR2 533MHz 512MB Memory

DDR2 has not been without controversy. Higher costs, lower performance, and no support from AMD has dogged its launch with the 915 and 925 chipset launch. Do not mistake DDR2 for the ill fated Rambus. It is a serious technology that the largest DRAM makers have readily embraced with the backing of Intel. Today we are looking at Crucial Ballistix DDR2 running at 533MHz. Yes, since we do not have AMD support of DDR2 yet are are using an Intel test bed. It is something that you won't see here often.
