i have an wireless optical mouse, and the weight is not a problem to me (wirel. opt. mouse 2.0)

it still used heavy batteries.

maybe they could implement a small light li-ion battery.

Still I'd take the wired version. The added weight of wireless is a much greater problem then any cable "drag" that might occur.

I had them for my digicam also , but I sold it to Piotke and the new cam has its own battery

Idd, I never put my MX700 in the hub before the batteries are empty, and I can work quiet some time with those batteries, but sudenly they are empty without any warning, and thats sometimes very :grum:
