AMD Phenom II X6 1075T & X4 970 Review

@ 2010/09/24
It's nice to see increased performance offered for the same price in the quad-core market. The new Phenom II X4 970 does not only have a slightly better performance to offer though; the manufacturing process improvement yields a die that's better at overclocking and consumes a few Watts less under load, at an increased frequency.

The Phenom II X6 1075T, although having no improvements whatsoever, is still interesting. Retailing for $250, it is born to fill in the gap between the X6 1055T and the flagship X6 1090T. At a round 3GHz, it offers very decent performance.
