Hexus broke NDA... when they posted their review to the public, that data become public knowledge, I'm just sharing as soon as they put back their review I'll link to their review since they put in all the hard work testing the card they got from NVIDIA directly.

But I do honestly believe Hexus got mixed up about at what time NDA was supposed to expire. I've read rumors on two sites that 29/3 is the actual "benchmark" release day and that today is only pics & specs

from Hexus numbers the 5870 makes a very nice showing; maybe GTX 470 can be the saving grace against HD 5850. The GTX 480 is too hot, too power hungry and not useful unless you own a 30" LCD... better of with HD 5870 in my humble opinion, eyefinity et al

here's a French unknown site with their numbers: http://www.01net.com/editorial/51466...test-du-01lab/
but they have some weird results, most likely rushing the tests they overlooked some issues/settings, can happen; or driver issues; who knows. Need results from a reputable source do make any decision of course; Anandtech, HardOCP, TechReport, at least they take into account min.fps also

check out those DIRT 2 numbers, at lower IQ settings GTX 480 has massive lead, and HD 5870 remains well in playable FPS, once you increase resolution, enable AA and use DX11 you end up with:

- GTX 480: 50fps
- 5870: 47.7fps

vs not DX11

- GTX 480: 80fps
- 5870: 63fps
