Matrox Graphics demonstrates 12 displays running off a single PC
@ 2010/03/02The system was built using an Intel Core i7 processor, shedload of system memory and twelve 26" NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXI with a native resolution of 1920x1200. We like the fact that Matrox used displays with 16:10 ratio, rather than 16:9 screens that are all over the show.
The M9188 is nothing else but a dual-GPU setup with eight mini-DisplayPort connectors, while the M9148 comes with quad DisplayPort output. The company demonstrated 8100x3880 resolution, i.e. 7680x3600 pixels with 70 pixels reserved for bezel correction.
