NVIDIA Confirms: no retail Fermi before April

NVIDIA revealed a new site today with details on the "launch" date of an event that announces Fermi. Friday 3/26

Come see NVIDIA unveil the next generation of PC gaming. Want to see what’s hot and what’s next? If
you’re even vaguely a fan of PC games and miss this special event, you’ll likely be spending the next
few months kicking yourself. Line up early as seating is limited. ‘Nuff said.

You might be able to buy one at the event, exclusively!

- Test drive our highly-anticipated, next-generation GPU…you may even be able to buy one before anyone else

Wonder if they will send samples out to media? What are the chances of NVIDIA Geforce GTX 480 showing up next week at Cebit? Pretty low I think, since they are sponsoring this special event at the end of March.
