Metro 2033 Struts Its Direct X 11 Stuff

@ 2010/02/18
4A Games and THQ would like everyone to know that their upcoming post-apocalyptic shooter Metro 2033 will feature "the most advanced DX11 techniques yet seen" on your PC.

If advanced depth of field effects and full tessellation on character models means something to you, than you'll want to keep an eye out for Metro 2033, coming March 16th to the PC and Xbox 360. According to a THQ press release issued today, the PC version of the game takes full advantage of DX11's advanced features, or at least the fullest advantage to date. With the technology still at a relatively early stage, I'd say we'll be seeing this sort of press release sporadically from different publishers for the next year or so.
