Dell's UltraSharp U2711 (2560x1440) 27" LCD monitor start selling

Unveiled at CES 2010 last month, the IPS panel-equipped UltraSharp U2711 27-inch LCD monitor from Dell has now become available North America, South America and Asia (Europeans will get is 'soon'). This latest UltraSharp model features a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, a 6ms response time (GTG), a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 (80,000:1 DCR), 350 cd/m2 typical brightness, 110% color gamut, an 8-in-1 card reader, and four USB 2.0 ports. The UltraSharp U2711 comes with D-Sub, dual DVI, HDMI 1.3, DisplayPort, and composite connectivity, and is priced at $1,099.
