Seagate and LSI team up to make PCI-Express SSDs

Hoping to brag a bigger piece of the expanding solid state drive market, LSI and Seagate have signed an agreement that will see them making PCI-Express-based SSDs for data center and cloud computing environments. The enterprise-grade storage solutions will bring together LSI's SAS and PCIe technologies and Seagate's SSD expertise (which isn't all that much) and are claimed to provide high performance and solid reliability.
