AMD prepping triple-core mobile CPUs

@ 2010/01/11
In need of more wins in the mobile segment, AMD is planning to introduce tri-core processors as an alternative to the dual-core/quad-core pats available in the market.

Currently AMD is only selling single- and dual-core CPUs for laptops but, as of later this year, the company will be rolling out the 'Danube' platform which will make use of dual-, three- and quad-core processors.
