Plextor announces its first SSDs

Storage company Plextor has jumped onto the SSD express and unveiled its own NAND-based drives which come in a 2.5-inch form factor and boast 64GB and 128GB capacities. Plextor's SSDs feature a Marvell controller, 64MB of cache memory, MLC (multi-level cell) NAND chips, a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, and a MTBF of 1.5 million hours.
