Buffalo USB 3.0 HDD, as fast as Internal HDD (FR)

@ 2010/01/08
After almost 10 years (!) Of existence, USB 2.0 finally goes hand. While remaining compatible, its successor offers a performance gain immediate and highly significant. On average, transfers to a USB 3.0 drive is 3 times faster! The USB 3.0, or Super-speed USB is primarily a theoretical maximum throughput about 10 times that of USB 2.0: 5 Gbps cons 480Mbps. Except that after taking into account the loss due to encoding data on the one hand, and that the information encapsulation of the other (flow control, packet framing, header protocol-related ... ), the bandwidth actually reserved for data transfer is only about 3.2 Gbps. Or 6.6 times the USB 2.0: not bad!
