Intel 40Gb X25-V Value SSD Spotted in Stores for €100

Intel's wannabe cheap 40GB X25-V solid state drive, which debuted under the Kingston brand last year, has now started to become available in the US and is coming to Europe too. This lower-cost drive comes in a 2.5-inch form factor, has a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, features MLC NAND memory, and delivers read and write speeds of up to 170 MB/s and 35 MB/s, respectively.
