After the announcement that Crystal Palace would go up for sale, discussion in the community broke out instantly. "How much would it go for?", "I wonder what the taxrates will be set to. What do YOU think?" and "Who do YOU think will win it?" were heard everywhere. The auction finally ended with the final bid of 3,300,000 PEDs made by "Buzz Erik Lightyear" at 23:01 Calypso time, thus finalizing an incredibly exciting auction. (10 PED = 1 real world dollar)

Dunno, never even heard of the game. Appears to have a fixed $1 to $10 ingame currency exchange rate... perhaps hold onto it for a few years collecting rent, then resell and convert rent+selling price back over? Better investments than that though.
