Who Installs the Most Crapware?

You wouldn’t buy a new car that took five minutes to get out of first gear or a new hard disk that was already half-full of files – but plenty of people are unwittingly buying a laptop that’s been hobbled before it’s even left the factory.

That’s because crapware – the common term for “free” software that’s piled on to new PCs – can have a catastrophic effect on boot times, performance and hard disk space.

Same here, I was positivly surprised by the amount of crapware on my Dell . Afaik there was hardly any crapware installed on it.

I was impressed by the lack of crapware on my MSI Wind.

Another thing that surprises me is that noone has discovered "100% crapware free" as a USP.

Didn't know that laptops came from the factory/company with all that stuff included. The guy where I buy my hardware (Pema Systems, Merksem) does clean installs on everything that goes out his door...
