Nexus RX-1K 1000 Watt 80+ Inaudible Power Supply

As with all 80+ power supplies, the RX-1K features Active PFC. This technology aligns the current waveform with the voltage waveform to allow more efficient delivery of power from the power utility to the customer. It does not directly save the customer any money from their energy bill in a residential setting.
