Asus Radeon HD 5770 3Dmarked (HD 5770 vs HD 4890 vs GTX260 vs GTX275)
@ 2009/10/07MyMyPC got a chance to run some tests with an Asus Radeon HD 5770, is it a worthy successor of the HD 4770 ?
3DMark06 is clearly CPU limited, better to have chosen 3DM03; 3DMark Vantage gives us a better idea of what the expect from this the HD 5770: HD 4870 level performance for a $159 price; DX11 support, and Eyefinity. If you currently already own a geforce GTX varient (260/275/280/285) no need to change, the HD 5770 is slower, if you have a HD 48xx series; also no need to change; even the HD 4770 won't turn out much slower imho.
Now for some real game benchmarks and hopefully a nice price cut if these 3DMark Vantage numbers are anything to go by... since HD 4870 can be had for ~$120 and HD 4890 for ~$150 nowadays.
