Intel to launch Core i9 CPU with Tower Heatpipe Cooler

@ 2009/09/28
Intel unveiled a small booth on the prototype of a new heat sink box composed of four heat pipes bent into U and numerous aluminum fins. It is very lightweight and is only compatible with the fixing of socket LGA 1366. Although it is hard to make judgments about its noise in the middle of a show, Intel has announced that it was very quiet. The Santa Clara giant has not yet decided on the color of its new heat sink, which could be either black or white. It will be supplied in the box of future Core i7 (i9?) EXtreme Edition "Gulftown."
