Intel PCIe SSD outputs 1.076 million IOPS

The Intel X25 Solid State Drive family is truly one of the fastest and it looks like Intel has grown tired of companies showing "cool" PCIe SSD solutions. Intel has shown its own PCIe Solid State Drive using no less than seven X25 drives in RAID for tremendous performance. As usual Intel prefer talking IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second) when it talks SSD technology and according to Intel the PCIe card can output 1.076 million IOPS.

The circumstances were not revealed so we can't really compare the numbers to anything out there right now, but Intel claims that you need 5000 mechanical drives to match these numbers.
