Gigabyte readies overclocked GeForce GT 220

Already out for OEMs, the GeForce GT 220, which is powered by the 40nm GT216 GPU, is going to make its way to retail in Q4, probably before the arrival of Windows 7. As expected, most board makers that work with Nvidia will bring GT 220s to market, and Gigabyte is one of those manufacturers.

Seen below is one of Gigabyte's GT216 cards, a factory overclocked GeForce GT 220 that has DirectX 10.1 support, a nice blue PCB, a custom dual-slot cooler boasting a 80mm fan, a 128-bit memory interface paired up with 1GB of GDDR3 memory, and D-Sub, DVI and HDMI outputs.
