Gulftown overclocked - 4.7GHz on air, 251BCLK!

Not much to share about the results as, obviously, there's the strong Intel NDA. The Gulftown, Intel's upcoming 6-core 32nm has already been pushed on air cooling to a strong 4.7GHz and an impressive 251MHz BLCK, which quite a lot as the current samples can hardly ever do 235MHz on air cooling, let alone 24/7 stable.

Ahh, I understand. Still, if silicon this early can do this well then I'm sure the chips being sold later will hit 4.8GHz.

You guys sure know how to make a 4.2GHz Core i7 920 feel outdated.

Didn't find it on XS forums. For NDA-safety reasons I prefer to not add a source.

Hm, is there a link to the source? XS forums?

Only 4.66GHz... to bad isn't 4.8GHz, would have been a 100% overclock...

It looks goooooood

I wonder about phase/ln2 scaling, how high can a 6core go
