@ 2009/08/20AMD has just launched the Phenom II X4 965 CPU and many have an issue with this 3.4GHz quad-core, as its TDP (Thermal Design Power) is at quite high, 140W to be exact.
The good news is that in Q4 2009, AMD will have a new, 125W TDP version of Phenom II X4 965. Introduction of this part also means the imminent death of Phenom II 965 140W that will reach its last order status in late Q1 2010 which is unusually short product life cycle for a CPU.
