OCZ unveils the Solid 2 family of solid state drives

Continuing with its SSD push, the OCZ Technology Group has now announced the Solid 2, the "most affordable Indilinx-based" drives. Coming in 60 and 120GB capacities, the new 2.5-inch SSDs have a SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, 64MB of cache, MLC NAND memory, and a MTBF of 1.5 million hours. In terms of speed, both drives will top 125 MB/s when reading, with the 60GB model reaching 80 MB/s when writing, whereas the 120GB version will do that at up to 100 MB/s.
