Intel pushes back Pine Trail-D platform and Clarkdale CPUs to 1Q10

Intel has decided to push back its Pine Trail-D platform for nettops from October 2009 to the first quarter of 2010, in addition to Pine Trail-M for netbooks, while the company's Clarkdale-based processors are also being pushed back to the first quarter of 2010, according to sources at PC makers.

Intel will launch two Core i3 processors clocked at 2.93GHz and 3.06GHz, and priced at US$123 and US143 in thousand-unit tray quantities, respectively, in the first quarter of 2010. The company will also launch a Pentium processor clocked at 2.83GHz and priced at US$87.
