Asus' 4GB Mars dual-GPU card up for pre-order ($1,680 / 1,218 Euro)

If money is no problem then we, or better yet, Asus, has one more thing you can spend it on - the limited edition Mars graphics card which boasts no less than 4GB of GDDR3 memory, and two GT200 GPUs summing up to 480 Processing Cores, all one one PCB.

this card is not strictly speaking a GTX 295, more a dual GTX 285 in single slot

GTX 295 I think ?
Comment from jmke @ 2009/06/16
you apparently for not defining what "everything" means for you
it's not like you have never thrown money out of the window for hardware, so GTX 285 MARS is well within that criteria

Yeah, now who's not educated....

Everything equals Hwbot benchmarks, I believe

you are quite uneducated it seems; you should know that CF scaling is horrible past 2x GPUs; two GTX 285 cards outperform in quite a bit of games or on par at least.

Call of Duty: 3xCF wins
Crysis: 285 SLi = 3xCF
Enemy Territory: 285 SLi = 3xCF
Far Cry 2: 285 SLI wins
FEAR2: 3xCF wins
Left4Dead: 3xCF wins
Stalker: 3xCF wins
Devil May Cry: 3xCF wins
Prince of Persia: 3xCF wins
Fallout 3: 285 SLi = 3xCF
Mass Effect: 3xCF wins
Race Driver Grid: 3xCF wins
Hawkx : 3xCF wins
Red Alert 3: 285 SLi = 3xCF
World in Conflict: 285 SLi = 3xCF

285 SLI = 300Watt
3xCF 4890 = 360Watt
4xCF 4770 = 530Watt lol

anyway; since you never game this is all irrelevant
