Water Cooling vs Thermoelectric: CoolIT Freezone Elite

Jab! Jab!…left…right…..BAM........ a uppercut to the Freezone Elite. The load temps jumped up 10°C, even with the coolant targeted at 15°C. The TECs and the fan are running at 100% of power all the time. The chillers are working very hard, trying to keep the coolant temprature at 17°C, that’s 2°C under the targeted temperature and no changes in load temps. But it managed to keep the idle temp in teens. Sadly, the Freezon Elite won’t be able to handle highly overclocked Core i7 processors with this kind of heat load
