GeiL intros a few DDR3 12Gb Kits...

@ 2009/05/05
GeIL has announced around twenty different memory kits for Intel's Core i7 platform. The armada of DDR3 memories all have one thing in common, they ship in triple channel kits. Six separate 2GB modules for 12GB RAM in total. GeIL has divided the new modules into three series, Value, Ultra and Evo One. The last is also the biggest with no less than eleven kits and target games and enthusiasts. Just like the Ultra series GeIL has rather the fastest modules of the Evo One series at 2000MHz at 1.65V.

The specifications stretches from 1066MHz with 7-7-7-20 latencies up to 2000MHz with 8-8-8-28 timings. The modules have all been tested in GeIL's own lab using DBT technology (Die-hard Burn-in) to ensure the highest quality, which should reduce the number of subpar modules.
