The heatsink weighs a lardy 995 grams with fan, according to my digital scales. The weight violates the maximum cooler weights set out by both Intel and AMD for the CPUs the Hyper-6 supports (all AMD Socket 940, 939, 754 and Intel Socket 478 processors).
