@ 2009/03/25Intel is aggressively promoting sales of its upcoming consumer ultra low voltage (CULV) platform offering steep discounts to leading notebook vendors, according to notebook makers.
The highest volume vendors – HP, Acer and Dell– have been offered CPU unit pricing of US$65, well below the expected list price for low-end models of US$152, while brand vendors including Asustek and MSI have been quoted as low as US$70-75, the sources claimed.
