22-Inch Laptops Coming From ViewSonic

ViewSonic will extend its marketing in the China market from LCD product lines to netbooks and notebooks, according to industry sources in Taiwan.

The company plans to develop a 22-inch notebook for the China market.

In addition to ViewSonic, monitor vendor TPV is also selling notebook products in China, but volumes are currently low. The company's strategy is to bundle a small size notebook with a large-size monitor to boost monitor sales.
