@ 2009/02/13PC Games Hardware tested the Geforce 182.05 Beta driver and ran benchmarks in 10 games to checked if the performance benefits Nvidia lists in the release Notes are really available.
~overall a ~3% increase in performance with the beta driver
According to Nvidia the Geforce 182.05 Beta is the ideal driver for Fear 2: Project Origin and is also supposed to increase the performance at high resolutions with activated Anti Aliasing in Fallout 3, Half-Life 2 plus Episodes, Left 4 Dead and Race Driver Grid. Furthermore the Geforce 182.05 Beta delivers OpenGL 3.0 support for all Geforce 8, Geforce 9 and GTX 200 cards.
