INTEL'S Core i7 processor is about to be shipped inside a laptop by Canadian PC retailer Eurocom.

According to Eurocom's website, its new beast of a laptop, the D900F Phantom i7 - weighing in at an arm-aching 5.4 kilograms - will sport Chipzilla's Core i7 processor, usually reserved for higher-end desktops or servers.

The laptop certainly comes with some heavy hitting specs, with the Core i7 920, 940 and 965 processors running at speeds between 2.66GHz and 3.2GHz. That includes 8MB of L2 cache to boot.
