@ 2004/06/25Vivendia Universal Games has shut down Sierra which also means 350 people are out of jobs. Top games such as the FPS Game of the Year, Half-Life, came from the Seattle based company Sierra. The shutdown of Sierra is a part of VU's restructure plans for the company.

VU Games is known for the famous Half-Life 2 title which is expected to be released sometime this Summer.
