Intel X25-E 64GB SSD Delayed Until Q1 Next Year

The structure and design of solid state drives varies, enabling SSD driver to improve some performances which count. Compared with its rival, Intel SSD’s 10xNAND flash memory access and powerful command array function keep it enjoy a good reputation for its high-quality performance.

Among Intel SSD lineup, 2.5” X25-E Series targeting at enterprises is the most successful one with read/write speed of 240/170MB per second. X25-E Series SSD of 32GB capacity hit the market in November this year, priced at $700 each 1000 items, and Intel plans to reveal 64GB version in Q4 this year. But the latest roadmap shows that the launch of X25-E 64GB will be postponed till Q1 next year. It’s predicted the price will be as much as $990.

Buy.com is now selling the X25-M for ~550.
