Ziff Davis to shut down print version of PC Magazine

@ 2008/11/19
Ziff Davis decided to cancel the print version of PC Magazine, due to an eroding readership base and advertising dollars that are increasingly spent online. PC Magazine was founded in 1982 and will be shut down with the January 2009 issue.

The publisher said seven people will lose their job. All of those jobs involve the print production side of the magazine; editorial employees will not be laid off, but transitioned to the Ziff Davis network of websites.
