X-bit labs: From our earlier conversations we know that you achieve truly hardcore speeds in the lab What is the current record of DDR, DDR2?

Ryan Petersen: We have run so far with DDR1 well above 633MHz and DDR2 in the 830MHz range.

exactly! no home-user will ever use this to go from 2.85 -> 2.9v.. this is for people who would otherwise voltmod their motherboard to get 3.3v or more.. this devices removes the hassle of voltmodding your motherboard and at a suggested retail price of $20 its quite a good bargain imho.

I think this is something for people who want to be the fastest (those with LN2  ) and just want to get an as high as possible mem for only a short time.

the first or the 2nd one?
both survived bios
Comment from jmke @ 2004/06/22
this device is not intended for those not looking to push their hardware to the limit.

ps: calantak you ran 13v through your 9800Pro.. how long did it survive?
Comment from calantak @ 2004/06/22
you think?
i think 3.3 volts will **** up your mem about ten times as fast as 2.8

Since when is OC'ing healty ? . Ok, 4V throug your mem is a litlle bit too much, but 3,3 is acceptable (with a fan cooling).
