Intel shows off QX9300 Mobile CPU at 3.55GHz

@ 2008/10/22
Intel wasn't shy when it came to showing off its new quad core mobile processor, the Core 2 Quad QX9300 Extreme Edition which has a stock clock of 2.53GHz on a 1,066MHz bus. The CPU has a massive 12MB L2 cache which is shared between the four cores and there were several notebooks on stage using the new CPU.

However, what makes this puppy special is how well it overclocks, as Intel had all four cores running at 3.55GHz on stage. At this speed the demo system (which we didn't manage to get the full specifications on) managed a 3DMark Vantage score of P11139 running a CrossFireX setup.

you didn't see the SLI notebooks at the OCZ stand at Cebit? HyperSonic had a 9800M GTX in SLI in a gamer notebook
