Core i7 could launch on November 17

Asian tech sites and rumor blogs have posted almost all the unofficial dirt there is to post about Intel's next-gen Core i7 processors. We've seen photos of the chips and their coolers, benchmarks, and a run-down of the launch CPUs and their price tags. Now, Fudzilla has secured the final piece of the puzzle: a launch date.

Quoting "multiple sources," Fudzilla says Intel will unleash the Core i7 on "the first day of week 47." Don't get your calculator out—Fudo says that corresponds to November 17, which is supposedly a week later than the date Intel had picked out initially. Motherboard manufacturers should join the fun with matching motherboards based on the X58 Express chipset (like Asus' P6T Deluxe), and memory makers should accompany them with triple-channel DDR3 memory kits.
