Four Radeon HD 4800 cards with alternative cooling solutions tested

Initially AMD didn't allow the vendors to produce HD 4800 series cards that differ from the reference design. But this restriction has been cancelled some weeks ago and the producers introduced their own creations. We took a closer look at four versions and checked them for loudness and temperatures.

• HIS HD 4850 Iceq4 Turbo X
• Palit HD 4850 Sonic
